Family Cardio Training

Organize first aid training at home with family and friends to be on the safe side!

This training lasts 2 hours. You'll learn CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and DVR (airway clearance in case of choking) techniques for babies, children and adults in the comfort of your own home.

One of our highly qualified instructors will be happy to come to your home to teach you the techniques that can save the lives of your loved ones!

ANAPHYLACTIC CARE

Anaphylactic Care training lasts 4 hours. It can be done in half a day or an evening. This training is only offered in companies for groups of 10 participants minimum at the dates and times you wish.

GENERAL OBJECTIVE

At the end of the training, the candidate will be able to adequately recognize the signs of anaphylactic shock and thus administer epinephrine to the victim. This training meets the standards required by the FMC (Heart and Stroke Foundation).

CPR LEVEL A

Level A CPR training lasts 4 hours. It can be done in half a day or an evening. We can give the training directly at your workplace at the dates and times you wish, for a minimum of 10 participants per group.

GENERAL OBJECTIVE

At the end of the training, the candidate will be able to adequately perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and airway clearance (ARD) in adults (8 years and older). This training meets the required CME (Heart and Stroke Foundation) standards.

CPR LEVEL C

CPR LEVEL C +

CPR Level C+ training lasts 5 to 6 hours. It can be done in one day or two evenings. We can give the training directly at your workplace at the dates and times you wish, for a minimum of 10 participants per group. This training is intended for medical personnel.

GENERAL OBJECTIVE

At the end of the training, the candidate will be able to adequately perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), automated external defibrillation (AED) and airway clearance (AED) in babies (0 to 1 years), children (1 to 8 years) and adults (8 years and older). This training meets the standards required by the CME (Heart and Stroke Foundation).

S.I.M.D.U.T. (Information on workplace hazardous materials)

S.I.M.D.U.T. training lasts 4 hours and is only offered for groups of a minimum of 10 participants at the dates and times of your convenience.

GENERAL OBJECTIVE

At the end of the training, the candidate will be able to properly identify and recognize the symbols concerning hazardous materials and products. They will also be able to use MSDSs appropriately and provide appropriate first aid to the victim. This training meets the required standards.

Become an instructor

To become an instructor you must take the following courses:

TRAINING ISIR-DEA, P.S.et S.A.

(IMMEDIATE CARE INSTRUCTOR TRAINING IN RESUSCITATION-DEFIBRILLATION, FIRST AID AND ANAPHYLACTIC CARE)

  • Prerequisites: Basic First Aid and CPR Level C (baby, child,) and valid Anaphylactic Care.    
  • ISIR-DEA/S.A. Training: 18H00 $550.00
  • Training P.S.: 6H00 $150.00
  • ISIR-DEA/S.A/P.S. training approximately 24H00 $450.00.
  • National Instructor Training (+ ISIR-DEA/S.A./P.S. training) +$200.00
  • A period of nine months of personal study is allowed.    
  • A course supervised by the Master Instructor must be completed and approved by the Master Instructor.  

The above amounts include the rental of equipment such as mannequins and AEDs. In addition, the cost of supervision and the cost of books and DVDs required for training. You will need to obtain these from the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

CNESST TRAINER

(First aid in the workplace)

  •  Prerequisites: Hold a valid ISIR-DEA/P.S./S.A. card.    
  • CNESST Exam $50.00
  • Training on the use of CNESST Protocols (4h00) $100.00
  • A course supervised by the training organization must be completed and approved by the training organization within 9 months.    
  • The candidate must have a valid First Responder or PHTLS (Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support) card or equivalent.
